Why Hook-Up Kits? Why Not!

page_HolterMonitorEventMonitorWhy hook-up kits? The question you should be asking yourself is why not hook-up kits! Hook-up kits allow you to effectively and efficiently perform ambulatory cardiac event recording, providing you all of the patient prep the supplies you need at your fingertips (electrodes, batteries, razors, patient diaries, tape strips, prep scrubs, disposable pouches & more!). And guess what? We’re FDA and UDI compliant; that means we follow all of the rules and regulations set forth by the US Food & Drug Administration. In laymen’s terms – our hook-up kits are LEGIT! PS – We’re not exclusive to the cardiology market. We can kit anything! 🙂

Visit from CenterState CEO Ambassadors

DANLEE_CHAMBER_AMBASSADORSWe were so excited to have the CenterState CEO Ambassadors at our facility this morning to present us with a certificate of accomplishment for the recent expansion of our production department (oh… and and some of us were wearing green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!). Our business has grown so much in this area that we had to expand our footprint AND hire additional staff. Not to toot our own horn, but we think it’s kinda a big deal [toot – toot!] 😉. Thanks again to the Ambassadors for being so supportive! #FDARegulated #UDICompliant #YouNeedItWeWillBuildIt#HookupKitsAreOurBusiness #LeanAndMeanIn2018

CPR, AED & First Aid Certification

Over the weekend several of our team members took a course administered by CNY CPR where we learned infant, child and adult CPR and AED administration …as well as basic first aid. It was a very informative course where our skills were tested on life like dummies. If you are in the Syracuse area and are interested in obtaining your certification, check out CNY CPR. In our eyes, you can never be too prepared! #CPRSavesLives #EmergenciesHappen #OfficeSafetyIMG_5249 IMG_5251 IMG_5261 IMG_5267

First, I can be assured that the price point on all of the products that I need will be extremely competitive. More importantly is the customer service that I receive from Danlee; I know that whenever I reach out to Danlee it will be a pleasant experience. Every single member of Danlee’s staff is extraordinarily helpful, whether it’s placing an order or paying an invoice. You can order product anywhere, but it is uncommon these days to find a company that you can have a relationship with. Danlee is one of those rare companies.”

Tattooing Health Risks, Warnings & The Benefits Of Disposables

The use of disposable items, such as plastic single-use razors, single-use paper products like exam table paper, disposable tattoo chair and table covers, as well as disposable apparel and exam gloves can significantly reduce the spread of blood-borne pathogens.

The use of disposable items, such as plastic single-use razors, single-use paper products like exam table paper, disposable tattoo chair and table covers, as well as disposable apparel and exam gloves can significantly reduce the spread of blood-borne pathogens.

Even the most talented tattoo artist cannot tattoo without the proper tools. The tools of the trade, despite some variation, are essentially the same among all modern tattoo artists.  What’s more, the core of an artist’s toolkit will be the tattoo machine, needles, inks, autoclave, disposable razors, gloves and anti-bacterial soap to name a few professional tattoo supplies.  There’s a lot of equipment that goes into being an able and responsible tattoo artist with the most important technical aspects being artistry and, more importantly, safety.  The business of tattooing used to carry certain stigmas, and while good artists and mainstream acceptance have brought much of that to an end, there are still many reasons that bad reputation was and still persists even today.

One of the contributors to this less-than-stellar view of tattooing has to do with the health risks it has posed in the past.  Frankly, there are still health risks for both the customer and the tattoo artist, however, safety procedures coupled with technological advances have helped to minimize the risks to where getting and giving a tattoo has become quite safe.  Every reputable tattoo artist will have done their due-diligence and be abreast of the latest tattooing safety regulations, precautions and equipment.  In today’s professional tattooing market, tattoo shops use vigorous cleaning and sterilization procedures, testing and analyzing routinely to make certain that their tattoo establishment and tattoo equipment are protecting staff and clients.

The principal health risk related to tattooing is the possibility of spreading blood-borne pathogens from one person to another, much like the healthcare industry’s rising issue of healthcare associate infections or HAI’s.  Diseases such as Hepatitis, Herpes, HIV and more can be spread when someone is exposed to the infected blood of another. The tattooing process requires needles to puncture the skin, which means that artisans often come into contact with blood.  Complex strategies, like the use of high-tech sterilization equipment, like autoclaves, are steps that are taken to protect everyone from other health and safety issues, but it is important not to overlook the simple things that help to complete and bolster the overall effectiveness of those precautions.  The use of disposable items, such as plastic single-use razors, single-use paper products like exam table paper, disposable tattoo chair and table covers, as well as disposable apparel and exam gloves can significantly reduce the spread of blood-borne pathogens.
